JobConnect (“the App”) is designed to help employers and job seekers connect through a structured, approval-based matching process. We take privacy seriously and aim to collect only the information necessary to operate the service.

• Account type (employer or job seeker)
• Company name for employers
• Current profession and job preferences for job seekers

• Match, approval, and unlock activity inside the app

3. How Information Is Used

Your information is used only to operate and improve the JobConnect service, including:

• Creating and maintaining your account
• Matching employers and job seekers
• Displaying relevant matches and requests
• Preventing duplicate or fraudulent accounts
• Processing in-app purchases related to contact unlocks
• Providing support and responding to account-related issues

4. Matching and Contact Privacy

JobConnect is designed to keep contact details private until the appropriate stage of the process. Employers and job seekers do not automatically see each other’s contact information. Contact details are only revealed after the required approval and unlock steps are completed for a specific match.

5. In-App Purchases

JobConnect uses Apple’s in-app purchase system for match-specific contact unlocks. Payment processing is handled by Apple. We do not store your full payment card details.

6. Account Security and Anti-Abuse Protection

To protect the platform from spam, misuse, and duplicate accounts, JobConnect may use secure local storage such as Keychain and backend account validation rules. These protections help ensure a safer experience for both employers and job seekers.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your data with third parties for advertising purposes. Information may be shared only when necessary to operate the app, comply with legal obligations, or complete the match/contact unlock flow you initiated.

8. Data Storage

Account and matching information may be stored securely using our backend service providers in order to operate the app. Reasonable safeguards are used to protect your information, but no digital service can guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Choices

You may request support regarding your account or stop using the service at any time. Depending on legal and operational requirements, certain records may be retained for security, fraud prevention, billing, or compliance purposes.

10. Children’s Privacy

JobConnect is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

11. Changes to This Policy
